Impact of LIGHT CASCADE® technology on plant growth

This research works highlights the positive effect of LC® light shifting technology on low and high tunnels cultivated crops such as melon, watermelon, raspberry and early potato.
On the four different crops studied during a five year period, precocity of few days has been regularly noticed while fruit quality (sugar content, fruit weight and size) was maintained or improved. Significant yield gains have been measured in difficult weather conditions securing yields for growers.
New trials will continue to further improve these positive effects and test new crops.
