Peppers yield grown with LIGHT CASCADE® Technology in reduced fertigation reach the same level as peppers grown with standard double roof in classic fertigation
Pepper trial at Tecnova: Season 2021 - 2022
Tecnova measured the following results when comparing the Double Roof with LIGHT CASCADE® technology to the standard Double Roof:
- Precocity: in flowering and fruit setting, in faster fruit development: -2 days in reduced fertigation and -17 days in classic fertifgation, in early marketable yield: +28% in classic fertigation and +26% in reduced fertigation
- Yield Gain: Final marketable yield: +14% reaching the same yield as standard double roof in clasic fertigation and having the same n° of fruits as standard double roof in classic fertigation
- Fruit Quality: Similar quality and bigger fruits
